Katie Gergel grew up outside of Philadelphia and currently works as a performance marketing manager for Hearst Magazines in Manhattan. She earned Film and Political Science degrees at Penn State University, and has held creative marketing positions at companies including Disney Channel, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Showtime. Now living in Hoboken, NJ with her fiancé and two feline children, she spends her days forcing characters into messy scenarios, gobbling up reality dating shows, and planning elaborate themed parties that will force her friends to dress up or vote each other out (or both).
