Iris Andersi lives in Seattle and is constantly inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She identifies as bisexual and as a person with a chronic illness/disability. While she deals with symptoms from chronic fatigue, dysautonomia, and third degree heart block, she hopes to find the right potions (prescription drugs) to help manage her symptoms. Like her characters, she dreams of a world that doesn't overcharge for medicine. In her free time, she can be found writing alongside members of a queer writing club, asking (nicely) if she can pet your dog, or holding her spouse's hand while feeling like the luckiest woman in the world.

Linatta Mosset is lonely. Save for her familiar, a cat named Toad, nobody in town understands the challenge of managing a complex chronic illness. But her quiet life implodes when Potions Inc. guilts her into accepting a massive order. Stressed and exhausted, Linatta returns home from collecting ingredients to discover Toad is missing.
