Henry Coles
Henry Coles has been a part of several new writer award lists, including the SCBWI Undiscovered Voices, Scottish Book Trust New Writer Awardees and The Times/Chicken House Prize.
He grew up in a small village near Bradford, surrounded by sheep and hills. He always wanted to write, but instead spent his first 40 years programming computers. He still programs computers, but now writes books as well – Traitor's Magic is his debut.
Traitor's Magic
Two young rivals. One chance to learn magic.
Snobbish Haskell and fierce, determined Agatha couldn't be more different, but they both want the same thing: to impress the wizard Titus and become his apprentice.
The two soon learn there's more to the wizard and his magic than they could have imagined, and that locked inside the castle's library are secrets worth lying, stealing – and even dying – for.
