C.R. Averett

C. R. Averett is a former editor at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers and JIMMY Patterson Books, has a master’s degree in English/Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University, a BFA in dance performance from the University of the Arts, and currently works in book production at Running Press, an imprint of Hachette Book Group. She writes stories about flawed characters, small towns, and people who’re trying their best. She grew up in the middle of the forest in a small town you’ve probably never heard of, on top of a hill you’ll probably never find.
