Shardai Smith
Shardai Smith is a Black American author born in Erie, Pennsylvania who currently works in book marketing. She graduated with a degree in political science and creative writing before attending New York University’s publishing certificate program and earning her master’s in creative writing.
She was a finalist in the 2025 Clay Reynolds Novella Prize from Texas Review Press. When she isn't thinking of all the ways society horrifies her, she can be found watching horror movies and daydreaming. You can find her online at shardaismith.com.
