Michelle Samson
Michelle Samson was born and raised on Canada’s Cape Breton Island in an ancestral homestead much like the one captured in her debut novel, Hold Fast, an Acadian family saga spanning 250 years. After years of struggling with the push and pull of home while living in Toronto, she returned to write the manuscript in the house, which is only haunted by the nice ancestors. By day, she hosts and produces economic development podcasts. She is currently based in Halifax.
