Melissa Johnston Miles is a registered nurse and certified K-12 educator with a heart for early literacy. She founded and runs the nonprofit, Superhero Success Foundation, which provides scholarships to graduating high school students and has donated thousands of books featuring disabled superheroes to children's hospitals, camps, schools, and libraries.
